2008 Membership Drive - Letters of invitation to Join the South Dakota Adult Day Services Association in March with membership dues due by April 1st.  There are many great things happening in the Home and Community Based Services arena including Adult Day Services in South Dakota.  A new benefit of being a member of the State Association is that we have combined membership with the National Association for a significant discount.  This adds many additional benefits to the State Membership.  Please call Deb Gross at 605-336-6751 if you do not receive the membership application and letter.

Agency Directors Meeting - Friday April 11, 2008 from 10:00 - 2:00 at Avera Mother Joseph Manor in Aberdeen, SD.  The address is:  1002 N. Jay Street, phone 605-622-5836.  Contact person in Aberdeen is:  Mary Jo Schaible.  Our quarterly meeting is open to anyone who is a member of the South Dakota Adult Day Services Association, Agency's interested in becoming a member, or other HCB interested parties.  Our meetings are usually held the third friday of the month in January, April, July and during our Annual Conference in the fall.  Meeting dates are subject to change to watch for updates.  Meetings are generally held in Mitchell, SD at the Department of Social Services but will vary to give those traveling longer distances a break from driving on occassion.

SDADSA Annual Educational Conference:  The 2008 Educational conference will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Center for Active Generations, 2300 W. 46th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57005, 605-336-6751.  We are currently in the planning stages of this event so be watching for updates.  CEU's for Social Workers and Nursing Home Administrator's will be offered.
